Paris is always a good idea...

My heart skipped a beat...
anyone want to go, right now?

seriously, I am not joking right now.
I'm reaching desperation!
I'm sick of waiting!

ugh. Being poor and a grown up is hard.
Excuse my while I go watch my favorite movie now....

someday i'll fly away...

oh how i would love to be standing here right now. gazing out over the river Seine, gawking over Le Pont Neuf and taking in the gorgeous Parisian sky as the magnificent Eiffel Tower gleams in the background. ...someday...someday.
as for now, i suppose i will make due with marvelous Parisian dreams...
.bonne nuit mes amis.

i dont know what my deal is,
but i have been really emotional lately.
i cried during some commercial the other day
and pretty sure my family just laughed at me
here is one thing i saw today and just about lost it

then hearing samuel play amazing grace on the pipes yesterday
made me wail like a baby

and dont even get me started on the premier of biggest loser today
why do i watch that show?
i always look like an idiot sobbing to no end

oh well. i guess i will just go on being a cry baby, cause i cant help it one bit

i better hurry!

this post first needs an explanation...
first off, do you remember this post on rain,
the eiffel tower and daydreaming?
well if you do, let me know show you this website that i frequent.
there is a new picture of paris everyday posted by a friendly parisian
(yes, it does exist)
now let me show you this website that i also frequent
...do not mock me.
it is indeed a website describing the weather in france.
deal with it.
well needless to say, the friendly Parisian said its raining lots there now.
and the website proves it.
im aching to hop on a plane
and dance in the rain.
in paris.
in a yellow trench coat.
and black rain boots.
aching.

uncontrollably pathetic

my obsession with the Eiffel tower is in fact getting worse with each passing day. today as i was walking from class to class in the beautiful spring rain, i began to imagine my purely imaginary trip to the Eiffel tower and other surrounding Parisian wonders, and i came to the conclusion that i must be there in the rain...it has to rain at least one day. i imagined the undeniable beauty of the fresh rain and the the amount of sheer joy i would be experiencing. seriously, very few things would make me so happy haha. so naturally while letting my imagination flow...i planned my outfit. yes, i did indeed. here are some close examples:

Because really, what could be better than a bright yellow trench coat? I love this!! My green one is almost this great :)

I love rain boots. A lot. But look at these? I mean come on! They are SHINY!! If those aren't cool, then there is no such thing as cool. haha

I feel that this would just be the perfect scarf or headband. Its damask...I love the damask print almost as much as I love the Eiffel Tower.

The print says it all. I think umbrellas are magical, and heck, if there is one with the Eiffel Tower on it, It's basically the most magical thing on earth.

I just enjoy this picture. Its just utterly joyful.

I want to step out Down the Champs-Élysées, From the Arch of Triumph To the Petit Palais.

I watch this movie once a month at least, usually by myself while scrap booking because its my special 'me' time. This movie speaks to me, silly I know, but it brings me such joy, I cant even begin to tell you. haha I just wish life really was like this:
First off, I believe life really should be a musical. I think I could express myself soooo much better if I could just sing what I felt. haha We used to do this all the time in high school (with my amazing choir friends) we would just make life a musical and sing our conversations. We got some of the strangest looks, but it was so fun and strangely gratifying. haha
Second of all... In Paris. haha Now I am proud to be an American, dont get me wrong, but sometimes I think I was born in the wrong Country and the wrong era. I was definitely supposed to live in Paris in the 1920s or even the 1950s. Singing and dancing under the Eiffel Tower is what I was meant to do...I will be there soon though...dont you even worry.
