someday i'll fly away...

oh how i would love to be standing here right now. gazing out over the river Seine, gawking over Le Pont Neuf and taking in the gorgeous Parisian sky as the magnificent Eiffel Tower gleams in the background. ...someday...someday.
as for now, i suppose i will make due with marvelous Parisian dreams...
.bonne nuit mes amis.

someday...

i have been really uncreative in my blog posts as of late.
i apologize.
someday my life will consist of something other than lesson plans,
belief statements, johnny appleseed projects and dumb eled people.
as for now thats all my world revolves around.
in the mean time enjoy the gorgeous spring photos
and keep praying that the blessed spring season
will grace us with it's presence a little bit faster.

bonjour belle neige

(i hope my french is correct...its been a while)
we have a gorgeous little snowfall happening in logan right now. not blizzardy, but enough to cover up the yucky brown snow thats on the ground. what makes me happy, is the fact that the same thing is going on in Paris today. absolutely gorgeous. its like paris is coming to me. and im perfectly fine with that.

cry baby

i dont know what my deal is,
but i have been really emotional lately.
i cried during some commercial the other day
and pretty sure my family just laughed at me
here is one thing i saw today and just about lost it

then hearing samuel play amazing grace on the pipes yesterday
made me wail like a baby

and dont even get me started on the premier of biggest loser today
why do i watch that show?
i always look like an idiot sobbing to no end

oh well. i guess i will just go on being a cry baby, cause i cant help it one bit

i miss home

its true. i miss home. a lot. i have never been this homesick in my life. i cant really explain why either. what i would give to drop it all and leave. go back to boise. the people are cool there. really cool.
heres some pictures from fall break. only 28 more days till i get to go back! and then, CHRISTMAS will be here. that is utterly enjoyable to think about.

(sometimes i take pictures when i drive)
'

(this seems extremely poetic to me. it was screaming take a picture)

(my friends are cool. we carve pumpkins and name them: Mark, Mater, and Paul)

(i love sunsets. this was outside my backyard)

(sometimes my BFF little bro and i take bike rides. and i always have a camera)

We also took FAM pictures this weekend...im eager to see how they turned out. i will fill you in fellow bloggers. dont you even worry.

sunsets and photography

There is something inspiring and moving in a sunset. Its the end of a day. Whether it was a long day, and rough day, or the best day of your life, the sunset can always brighten it up right before it darkens everything.

Another thing I love is taking pictures. I often get made fun of because I always have my camera. Always. People think its funny...I think its smart. A couple weeks ago I felt very smart. Because on one glorious Friday afternoon, there was a sunset. A beautiful sunset. I was driving down 400 North, and I immediately whipped my car around and ran out to capture this painting in the sky. Of course a camera never does a whole lots of justice when the real life thing is of such magnitude, but it made me happy anyways.

Another thing I love is the 'A'. They say "Once and Aggie, Always an Aggie," and I believe that to be true. Logan is my home away from home. I always get excited driving back into Logan once I see the Temple and the 'A'. I don't think I will ever stop loving this place :)

so here are some pictures that capture all of these happy things that I love...

Our Photo Shoot

It was a beautiful spring day this past Friday so my dear friends Katie and Sara and I all decided to be cool and match and go take pictures. We went to the famous red door where about 90% of Cache Valley engaged couples take their engagements, and then to this fun little park behind it. These were the best pictures for sure...dont laugh at us...
